 🧩 Project Description:

Internal project focused on optimization and automation of finance-related business processes.This role is not just about describing processes; it’s about “diving deep” into the data to ensure accuracy and efficiency in our finance systems. The Senior Data Analyst ensures that automation initiatives deliver measurable efficiency, accuracy, and compliance improvements across key finance processes, supporting the PMO and Finance leaders by translating business needs into clear functional and technical requirements.

💡 Hard Skills / Must Have:

•  Data, Technical Analysis, and ValidationAdvanced SQL: confident use of window functions, complex aggregations, growth rate calculations, currency (FX) conversion logic, and reconciliation checks}

• Strong experience in data validation and reconciliation: independent verification of data correctness in DWH and BI layers (e.g., Tableau)

• Strong understanding of ERP systems

• Skilled in process modelling (BPMN, UML, flowcharts)

• Familiarity with automation technologies (RPA tools)

• Knowledge of testing methodologies and UAT coordination

• Ability to read and understand Python code (e.g., Airflow DAGs) to trace data flow and logic

• Experience with  Jira, Confluence, and collaboration tools

• Knowledge of finance processes is a plus

• Russian language is a must

📌 Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Collect, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders

• Conduct fit-gap analysis for system or process changes

• Map current “as-is” and “to-be” business processes and identify automation or standardization opportunities

• Ensure all requirements align with business strategy and compliance standards

• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications

• Cooperate with cross-functional teams to ensure correct implementation and testing

• Support UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution

• Validate implemented solutions against initial requirements

• Work with data and BI teams to ensure accurate data mapping, reconciliation, and reporting design

• Support data validation and integration activities between ERP and external systems

• Maintain clear and structured documentation of all requirements, changes, and decisions

• Communicate regularly with key stakeholders on progress, risks, and issues

• Benchmark best practices in finance process automation

• Support post-implementation reviews and lessons-learned sessions
