Senior / Lead Implementation Engineer

The customer operates in the insurance technology domain and focuses on improving efficiency, transparency, and decision-making across insurance workflows.
They build AI-driven solutions that help insurance organizations respond to modern challenges such as climate risk, cyber threats, and market volatility.
Project Description:
The project involves implementing and customizing a complex insurance-focused software platform for enterprise customers.
The role requires close collaboration with customer stakeholders to design, configure, and deliver scalable, production-grade solutions, including integrations and custom workflows.

Project Team:
Cross-functional team including Implementation Engineers, Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Customer Success specialists

Hard Skills / Must Have:
• Insurance domain expertise with solid understanding of industry concepts and workflows
• Strong hands-on coding experience with Python, JavaScript, and SQL
• Experience building and debugging production systems and complex integrations
• Solid understanding of system design, APIs, data flows, and integration patterns
• Ability to adapt products through custom configurations and extensions
• Experience estimating technical work and managing delivery risks
• Familiarity with UAT processes and iterative delivery practices
• Strong documentation skills including runbooks and technical guides
• Understanding of the software delivery lifecycle and implementation best practices
Responsibilities and Tasks:
• Lead planning, scoping, execution, and delivery of complex customer implementations
• Own delivery timelines, risk identification, and mitigation
• Act as a technical escalation point for complex issues
• Design and implement production-grade, customer-specific solutions
• Translate ambiguous requirements into clearly scoped technical deliverables
• Lead technical discovery and solution design sessions with customers
• Write, debug, and maintain production and integration code
• Manage UAT cycles, customer feedback, and issue resolution
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams
• Influence architectural decisions based on deployment experience
• Provide structured product feedback to influence the roadmap
• Develop and maintain delivery playbooks and best practices
• Automate internal processes to improve delivery efficiency
