Senior Java Developer

Project/Client: Public Sector
Location: Lithuania (hybrid; remote)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join a public-sector project developing a new system and delivering multiple integrations with internal and external platforms. The work is backend-focused and well-suited for someone experienced with integration development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot
  • Build and maintain REST integrations
  • Work with relational databases and support system integrations
  • Contribute to backend architecture and code quality

Must-Have Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Java development experience
  • Strong experience with Spring Boot and Spring libraries
  • Solid knowledge of JPA, Java Beans, transaction management
  • Experience creating REST services
  • Experience with SQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Docker

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Apache Kafka
  • Camunda knowledge
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes
