Senior Application Administrator

Project/Client: Banking
Location: Baltics (Hybrid/Remote)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 12 months (extension possible)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Application Administrator to support and maintain customer-facing banking applications such as internet banking, mobile apps, and middleware. The role focuses on ensuring availability, resolving incidents, monitoring system health, and coordinating upgrades and deployments across Pan-Baltic operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain stability and performance of digital banking channels
  • Monitor applications, logs, and integrations to prevent issues
  • Investigate and resolve incidents; support change and release activities
  • Collaborate with DevOps, infrastructure, and security teams
  • Contribute to automation, root cause analysis, and continuous improvements
  • Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory standards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 5+ years in application support or IT operations (financial sector preferred)
  • Skills in Java/Spring Boot, Jenkins, Git
  • Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, message queues, databases (Oracle/SQL)
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Grafana, ELK, NewRelic)
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and on-call readiness
  • Fluent English; strong problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to Have:

  • Cloud (AWS) application management experience
