We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack JavaScript Engineer (React+Node) with strong web frontend skills and capabilities who has rich experience and a good understanding of software design and development principles. As a software development engineer, you will be responsible for the technical design and implementation of the expansion of Client's video agents to cover multiple platforms.

General information about the Client

An American-based web tracking and analytics company. It provides cloud-based software as a service solution that allows websites and mobile apps to track user interactions and service operators' software and hardware performance. The current opportunity is to work with the developer team based in India.

Project context

Client has "Video Agents" that can be used for instrumenting Video players on Browser/Android/Roku/IOS devices. And the Client wants to expand these agents to cover multiple platforms (see below).

The position initiates with a fixed term contract for a period of three months, which upon completion, becomes an indefinite contract that requires a notice period of one month.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• You will influence how we build SDKs, features and products, and you are expected to bring best practices and patterns that can be used for engineering lifecycle.

• You will take ownership of our continued efforts to expand our video agents on multiple platforms across Engineering, providing valuable insight on how we can refine our processes and tools to support additional contributors in our architecture and code.

• Drive SDK and feature development for connected devices and build software that runs on different devices

• Developing applications (not only UX) using mainly Javascript and Typescript.

• Collaborate with other team members, designers, product owners and stakeholders to deliver features.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science

• 6-8 years of experience building production software systems

• Strong understanding of video, video players and CTV/Player ecosystems is a must

• Strong Javascript and/or Typescript expertise

• Experience with MERN stack

• Experience with NPM and similar packaging and distribution frameworks

• Broad experience working with other languages (Java, iOs, Brightscipt, etc.)

• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, like Git

• Logical thinker attitude with strong problem solving and analytical ability to apply your mathematical, algorithmic and other expertise to solve real world problems

• Highly enthusiasm and enjoy learning new technologies and frameworks
