Customer Description:

The company is a global travel platform that simplifies the process of planning and booking multi-modal journeys.

It allows users to compare and book transportation options across multiple countries.

Project Description:

You will be joining a key Partnerships tribe developing products and offering content to partners outside of the B2C product.

This includes a range of travel-related APIs and sub-products.

You will help build a cloud platform that abstracts away the complexity and fragmentation of transportation data and APIs, turning it into a structured and reliable system for internal application teams.

The team works with major transportation operators across regions and aims to create a unified travel product.

• Experience in Node.js, designing and building scalable high-performing applications

• Experience in Java, designing and building scalable high-performing applications

• Experience in software design and Continuous Delivery

• Experience in cloud infrastructure and container technology

• Team-player mindset with passion for mentoring and growing colleagues

• An open mind and eagerness to learn new things

• Experience in Node.js is a necessary primary skill

• Take care of existing services and create new ones

• Design, build and improve scalable systems that connect to various internal and external services

• Work with your team to rapidly test ideas, use results for iterations and improve our product

• Operate and maintain critical core systems, owning reliability, performance, and availability

• Collaborate with other teams on solutions for challenging and interesting problems

• Help more junior engineers grow in their progression
